Trump is cleverly positioning himself as the anti WWW3 presidential candidate, which we pose a dilemma for the 'liberal/left. He's no openly attacking Nuland and the other neocons and their policy in Ukraine.
The next presidential election could see a dramatic shift in public opinion, where it's the conservative/tranditional voters who support a rightwing anti-war candidate, nominally a Republican, whilst the 'progressives' left/liberals support the war candidate, the Democrat Joe Biden!
This thing is, of course, complex and contradictory, and the rhetoric is off the scale; but it's still interesting to see how Trump has his finger on the pulse of public opinion once more, compared to Biden. Biden who is more popular in Ukraine and Eastern Europe than he is back home in the United States.
Probably, if they sense that the public mood in behind Trump, the leaders of th Democrats will dump Biden and choose someone who is tainted by the Ukraine debacle.
It's grotesque that Trump sounds more critical of Washington's stance on Ukraine, that the left of the Labour Party!
