Boris Johnson then visited Ukraine and told President Zelensky not to make peace. Former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, who mediated between Russia and Ukraine during the early part of the war, has said publicly that, while he thought “there was a good chance of reaching a ceasefire”, Western countries “blocked” an agreement. This deeply sinister policy of sacrificing Ukrainians to weaken Russia should be rejected.
