Fair enough,Der - the sooner this war stops the better. Keith is sure Russia is "winning". They are, but at the end of the day, I don't think any society ever "wins" such a war. War is not a game of chess where you can reset your pieces after they've fallen, and have another go. Russia will itself pay an ever bigger price the longer this war continues. And the risk of further escalation is ever increasing, just one major "accident" or "Incident" might cause neighbouring parties to become involved, perhaps NATO itself mobilised. ’Tis all a Chequer-board of Nights and Days Where Destiny with Men for Pieces plays: Hither and thither moves, and mates, and slays, And one by one back in the Closet lays.
