However, it still seems like there's been precious little clear-eyed analysis of why Corbyn's stint as leader ended so badly? Also, why weren't they better prepared for power when it fell into their lap because the old poltical system was in such a state of disrepair, giving the left a (perhaps) once in a century opportunity? Surely Corbyn and his comrades couldn't have been totally unaware of the nature of the beast, having supped from the same trough for so long? Or, was it the opposite, that, infact they knew so much about how the political system/society worked in realtiy, as opposed to the fairytale of a functiioning democracy... that they understood their role and the dangers inherent in challenging it?
