Fascinating, how these commentators can read Putin's mind. They all do this, There's a name for this sort of mental disorder, I forget what it is called. Projection?

Basically these arguments are straw man arguments- you construct an imagined narrative around your opponent, which bears little semblance to reality, and then demolish your own construction.

When they admit their own mistaken assumptions, eg, that Russia will walk over Ukraine in days, and it didn't happen, that's not an reason to re-examine their mistaken assumption, but an excuse to construct an alternative narrative of Russia's incompetence.

They are surprised how well the Ukrainian army performed, which seem to indicate in how little confidence in the merit of the billions the US had spent building up the army and weaponising them. I man, you invested in making Ukraine's army the second largest and most effective in Europe, and it worked, Surprise surprise.

The interview just shows how totally involved in Ukraine was the US all along - listen to them if you can bear it. Stick to Berletic's summary. And it also show how totally delusional they are, totally convinced of their own superiority.

"I've lost count of the sanctions we've imposed, it's come at great cost to the rest of the world and Europe". They live on a different planet - "it'll take years to climb out of these sanctions". Devastating effects on their car industry - the Russians will manage, they have lots of horses and donkeys and China will make up any shortfall that Russia can't deal with itself etc etc etc
