Whenever liberals come out with this 'false equivalence' line it's always BS defending the indefensible. Brand could have chosen better examples of MSNBC goons flat out lying - Aaron Mate said he wished Brand had mentioned Russiagate, which would also be nothing but a 'right wing talking point' to these gits - but you can't deny the truth of the point he was making. Both corporate-owned media outlets serving a target demographic. Tucker Carlson and Rachel Maddow both made the same claim in court that they were entertainers first & foremost and therefore couldn't be held to proper journalistic standards. It's just because MR's whole thing is Attack Republicans; Defend Democrats that Brand's critique of both causes their tiny minds to seize up and reach for the familiar denunciations of 'right wing', 'anti science', 'grifter', 'hypocrite' etc etc. Just pathetic.
