There's something really, deeply wrong with politics, when criticism of the government's ghastly refugee policies, is left to the likes of Gary Lineker and not the official opposition. It helps that Lineker is a 'natinal treasure' a football hero and a likeable, articulate, charismatic individual, seemingly with principles and empathy. Everything that the awful leadership of both the Conservativ and Labour partis lack - in spades! The BBC, yet another British institution that's on the rocks, looks even worse than the government. The self-proclaimed 'guardians of the truth' reveald as servants of the state attempting to gag the freedom of speech of one of the most well-liked people in the country, whose only speech crime was to tell the truth and state the blindingly obvious. What a grotesque farce, people being punished and chastised for simply daring to tell the truth.
