It's that little word "Spill" again. As in Poole and oil "spill" - not as in "Oops-a-daisy - spilt a drop o' wine on me shirt".

(Today - an hour or so ago)

Sometimes a little 'spill' goes a very long way.

    Independent:
"Major Incident Declared after Oil Leak at Poole Harbour":

Yep - a "major incident" is then repeatedly reframed as a "spill".

And no definition of the word "barrel" is offered - as in "200 barrels of oil".
Duh - big barrels, itsy-bitsy barrels? How many relatable Imperial gallons might that be exactly ?

And of course we're given the usual and obligatory "an investigation can wait - we have other priorities right now etc" fob-off.

(Ah well - at least it won't be as cataclysmically toxic as a little leak or a bit of invisible waste-water "spillage" from the likes of Fort Detrick)
