Interesting when he (Norm) opened up on details about his wider neighbourhood at 55:00 odd, in his youth, with Jews sharing space with Negroes (as he put it). Basically a class issue with 'bussing' as a background which he analysed quite expertly as a phenomenon of the time including the education/school structure + unions + property prices in NY. I keep meaning to start on his bridges book, but can't find it in my 'cloud' .. rats.
