..robbed of the century-defining Presidency in 2000 - then constantly smeared for being a preachy green hypocrite before being character-assassinated for liking massages with happy endings. If green Al Gore and the Democrats had been permitted to take over the White House in 2000 the neocons would not have been able to carry out their long-planned Iraq+Afghanistan+Libya etc overthrow agenda. Gore had also frequently avowed to distance the US from - loosen its ties with - Saudi Arabia, reduce its dependence on Saudi and Middle East oil via a combination of Green Deal-like policies and by increasing domestic oil and gas production. He was also dedicated to ensuring a major shift towards hybrid, electric and greener alternative-fuelled vehicles and to introducing dramatically higher fuel-efficiency standards and of course lowering emissions and tackling and reducing all sources of air pollution. Hedges - like most fake-green or fickle-green or anti-green Leftists - never points out that we would undoubtedly all be living in a far better world - in so many ways - if Gore hadn't been brazenly robbed of the Presidency in 2000.. And of course noone even dares suggest that 9/11 would probably or even possibly never have happened with green Al Gore in the White House - as opposed to Bush, Cheney, the neocons and their Saudi oil buddies calling the shots and provoking anti-US extremism(esp. Saudi Wahhabi, Global Jihad) as never before witnessed. |
