I hate the way they use first names - we're not their friends - when everyone knows we're all nothing to these companies but a bunch of account numbers being screwed into the ground for money. They write like they're your best buddy - when they must know many people just can't find the extra money for these increases. Have you tried speaking to organisations like the CAB to see what your options are?
