Britain’s prime minster, Rishi Sunak, called on the Israeli military to exercise restraint.

“While we support Israel’s right to self defence, the protection of civilians must be prioritised,” a spokesperson said. “In any military operation, we would urge the Israel Defence Forces to demonstrate restraint in its operations and for all parties to avoid further escalation in the West Bank and Gaza.”

That told 'em Richey Rich! Israel, please don't let the death toll get into three figures. Palestinians, sit back and take it and don't fight back. Spineless ####.

The incursion came at a time of growing pressure within Israel for a tough response to a series of attacks on settlers, including a shooting last week that killed four people.

:-o No worries about those armed religious maniacs running around shooting people and setting fire to houses though, eh?

How about this for a bit of bias and spin though?:

The joint aerial and ground incursion into the camp is the first since the 2002 battle of Jenin during the second intifada, when more than 50 Palestinians and 23 Israeli soldiers were killed in over a week of fighting, including 13 Israeli soldiers in a single incident.

That makes it sound like it's the first time the camp has been attacked since 2002 and then tacks on a high Israeli death toll from that incident but then later in the piece...

Jenin and nearby Nablus have been the major targets of the now more than year-old Israeli Operation Breakwater, which has involved near-nightly raids [/i]

Nice bit of sophistry by using the "joint aerial and ground incursion" tag; we've shot at them from the ground, shot missiles at them from helicpter gunships but we haven't done both at the same time since 2002. Aren't we moral?

The lies and cowardice in their reporting makes me sick.
