..hypocrites most of the time of course. As are most non-stars aka ordinary people/earth-dwellers. Oh yaaaawn. Is it worth my/our stating the very bl**dy obvious for the nth time squared? How many of 'em for instance have had the intelligence, the independent-mindedness or the cojones to condemn the US-UK-NATO Perpetual War Machine - and I ain't talking about objecting to its oh-so frightful frikkin carbon bootprint. At least Thunberg has the excuse of both youth and the fact that highly manipulative adults have ensured she's as geopolitically duped+ignorant+unresearhed as most "adults". Including most grown-up adult Oxbridge grads like Thompson and yer average University Challenge geniuses who for example proudly sported little Ukraine-flag-coloured ribbons on their chests/breasts to show how ironically but characteristically geopolitically clueless+gullible they are and probably mostly always will be. (NB. I too am a Camford grad - but before "going up" to Cambridge I was far more formatively/usefully educated by 16 years growing up in poverty on a council estate..) |
