Of course Putin's warning was ignored, but I think it will come back to haunt the psychos and idiots in the west who pushed and pushed and caused this to happen, assuming they would be protected from any blowback. The schadenfreude of seeing the west go down would be delightful if not for all the innocent people who will be ruined by the mendacity of the ruling elites. We're going to have to start thinking seriously about revolt/revolution to stop this from being fatal. It's already getting that way for many through cost of living, fuel & food crises, though most IMO don't understand the real reasons, having been so comprehensively propagandised by the media.
