I had a holiday in Plockton a few years back, a stunning place on Scotland's grand west coast. On the opposite shore of Loch Carron lies Duncraig Castle. Duncraig Castle is a fine Scottish Baronial estate, it was built in 1866 by Sir Alexander Matheson who had returned to Britain after making a large sum of money through the Chinese opium trade. There's a lot of money in opium and we should be reviving the trade now that the Taliban have stopped it in Afghanistan. We should too be reviving our cavalry to defeat Putin (we kicked Tsar Nicholas 1st's arse Ben Wallace was heard to suggest). The sooner the UK brings back all its Victorian virtues - beggars in the streets, knifings, poor houses, child labour, controlling the natives in the jungle outside, and telling the Chinese where to stick their chopsticks - the better. We should be able to rely on the Tories and Labour under Starmer to take us back there in a jiffy, they've certainly made a good start. Spiffing, eh what?
