Attempting to fool the world into thinking the US is interested in peace as they rapidly prepare for war with China. A recent BBC piece from a disputed tiny island claimed by the Philippines was more grooming the public for war. China's presence in the area was described as 'aggressive' and 'threatening', whilst the American pressence so far from the US, was apparently, perfectly understandable and normal. I suppose this is because, we, in the West, are... normal. We define and think of our actions as structurally benign and normal, because we are so used to running the world, that any country that challenges our view, is automatically seen as defiant and threatening.
