wrote for the Moscow Times when she was there, and her language skills and experience of the country furnished her first break in UK journalism, a cracking piece (in the Guardian, actually) about how domestic abusers in Russia were punished with fines that their victims then had to pay. - ticks the elon musk checkbox - able to effortlessly make it all about herself, by personalizing criticism instead of putting it to one side to free the reader of distractions in fully assessing her work - able to furnish 2/3 of an article about her work with irrelevancies about her body movements etc.
