    'I think you're right about Craig not being warrior material, he's an old bloke now who proved himself a long time ago.' - I guess his problem is that he's wedded to the idea that state institutions, the rule of law, social democracy etc are reformable and represent good ideals at their core. So he'll uphold the standards even when the institutions fail and abuse him at every turn. Admirable in a way, but naive and ultimately self-harming. I much prefer Finkelstein's approach of forcing the cops to drag him out of his house in his pyjamas

    At least he seems to understand that the laptop is now compromised... Not telling them anything they didn't already know is still co-operating with an unjust act, emboldening the police to continue with impunity.
