She really is rather good, isn't she? Her writing is clear and punches well above its weight. She makes the english language whole and heatlhy again. Orwell would have understood this. Compared to her, the absolutely shitty writing, apart fromt their ghastly politics, served up by those middle class wankers, so used to preening themselves, at the Guardian/BBC... is striking. How tame and toothless they all are. How careerist and optunist, how low and vile. Spineless creeps groveling to power and money. Imagine if she had a column at the Guardian or the Daily Mirror. It would be explosive stuff, off the fucking charts! The politicians would go bananas and demand her gagging; which is exactly how it should be in a healthy and functioning democracy, and why, sadly, it can never happen. We've gone beyond that. |
