There's trepedation in their voices. In constrast, as I heard today, when they talk to a Palestinian representative, it functions more like an interogation, demanding that the Palestinian condemns Hamas and expresses solidarity with Israel's legitmate defensive strategy for peace! It's incredibly rare for the BBC/Guardian, and the rest, to ever criticise or challenge the basic premises behind Israeli military actions, specifically whether Israel is committing war crimes or is guilty of what amounts to genocide. Why, that's more than my jobs worth! They seem extraordinarily sensitive to what's allowed under the coniditions of their 'pay grade'.
