If the current extremist political regime in Israel seriously believe that the 'final solution' strategy they are adopting in relation to the Palestinians; is going to work, and it signals and shows the total defeat of the Palestinians and the eternal victory of Israel, sanctioned by... God; then they are guilty of historic miscalculation which starts a process of the beginning of the end for Israel. I think Crooke is correct. The staggering arrogance and bloodthirsty carnage unleashed on Gaza by Israel, is going to provoke a tremendous backlash in the Islamic world, and the meshing of a new ideology, based on Islam and nationalism. That the region, the Middle East cannot tolerate such a destabilizing and bloodthirsty regime to occupy such a key position in the heart of the Islamic world. If the Islamic world is going to progress, develop and integrate economically, it cannot do so without removing a cancerous growth in its body, Israel. What Israel is doing in Gaza, is sowing the seeds of its own destruction. What the Israeli regime thinks is the end for Hamas and the resistance, is an delusion. It's actually the beginning of a new and powerful phase as history's wheel begins to turn and break free of western control.
