Should the story be proven to be true it will exemplify the problem the non-vanguardist majority have with the so-called intelligentsia who posture a rationalist agenda whilst indulging in every neoliberal vice (incl. the one that constantly moves the goal-posts, playing a rigged game of musical chairs with the truth). The leverage that a conviction or simply wider exposure of the story would give the international community over Israel would be immense such would also serve to help put the brakes on the escalation of the conflict.
