I was reading this the other day and sadly I think they are getting their hopes up when they say, "To succeed with that defense, the companies will presumably be compelled to prove, in court, who carried out those attacks.". In fact I think they will just have to prove that, it was "directly or indirectly occasioned by, happening through, or in consequence of” the conflict between Russia and Ukraine" so they will just argue that it is irrelevant which government did it but the exclusion applies because SOME government did it. Of course showing why that was the case, the complexity of the operation, the efficency of it, the crazy logistics, etc. will point to the obvious culprits but I doubt there will be a Perry Mason moment in court where the septics get exposed. On a related note, funny how quickly the msm lost all interest in pursuing those stories; Nord Stream, the dam, the bridges, the Moscow attacks and who was responsible. I wonder why.... Compare the coverage of the London Bridge stabbings a few year back and how every inch of column space and minute of air time was devoted to that for weeks and then you have something orders of magnitude more serious and it's almost like two days later...nothing.
