A little something that cheered my day....from our little local monthly village magazine...📂 Archived Message

I got my little monthly parish council village magazine, pushed through the door today. Now, I usually bin this as soon as it comes as it is just filled with local ads, a page of platitudes from our lay minister and a page about plants and flowers in the bible. On the way to the bin I stopped and had a quick flick through and landed on the biblical flowers page for some reason and lo and behold, the first paragraph read as follows...
"In a hot country like Palestine any tree that gives shade is a welcome. The fig tree which can grow to a height of over 30 feet is valued for its lofty foliage as well as for its fruit. which bears for 10 months of the year."
Wonder if there's any zionazis in the village right now on their phones to The Board Of Deputies Of British Jews or Lawyers For Israel, whining about how threatened and unsafe they feel now our village parish council recognises Palestine as a country! Anyway, cheered me up for like 10 seconds...there can't be that many Palestinians enjoying the shade under a fig tree right now...that's even if there are any fig trees left.
