4:00: Labour govt figures are 'terrified of power'? They ARE power! Otherwise from this, and the usual 'billionaire press' exculpation of his employer, remarkably solid from Monbiot, who never used to even talk about Israel/Palestine (I did a search of his website a few years ago which turned up a scattering of results, none of them dealing with the conflict with any kind of deep understanding). Surprised to hear him use the word 'genocide' so unapologetically, and to see the Al Jazeera clip of LFI taking a million pounds from the israeli embassy. No mention of the journalists who have already been targeted under terrorism powers, but you can't have everything I suppose... Probably a good sign that opposition to the govt's stance on this is seeping into the liberal mainstream. cheers, I |
