Using collective punishment tactics to starve civilians is a grave violation of international law, and the world cannot continue to allow it to happen. The world also cannot continue to allow the regime that’s responsible for these heinous food massacres to continue using food as bait for their civilian killing tactics either. The commanders who gave these orders should be identified and charged with war crimes. The Israeli soldiers who carried out these food massacres should also be made to face justice. We know from the Nuremberg Trials that "just following orders" is not an excuse for participating in genocide and crimes against humanity.
