    ...I know what's going on there, some visual/technical thing, but always throws me a bit.
    Into the mix here, I throw Julian Bream, in the genre we are talking, it was always John Williams who got all the limelight...not that he couldn't play a bit!

    Cavatina, not a solo of course.

    I should mention, after my sussing out the finger picking mystery thang, I fell in love with the simple sounding but deceptively
    Babecomplex picking style of Leonard Cohen...Joan Of Arc and Suzanne...pretty and lovely and clever!


    Absolutely .. the vibrating strings drew my attention too .. nice visual accompaniment.

    Talking about Bream and Williams .. I was also very impressed by Segovia himself. 'Banana fingers' player of astonishing expertise. Just before I segued into Bert Jansch and John Renbourn's mystery world. Those were the days

    Haven't picked up on Cohen except as a style i.e. not the finger picking thing .. more on poetry etc.
