I think Keaton is right and his research into past NYT announcements about editor's notes (vanishingly rare, at least on that twitter account) proves it. They wanted to sabotage their own story, give the zionists a cheap victory and get readers to disbelieve their 'lying eyes' whenever they see photos of starving Palestinian kids in future. I guess this is where Mad Mel got her 'they're not really starving' spiel from. Running out of suitable insults or expressions of disgust & contempt for the people who do this kind of thing... Anyway, the board's getting very sweary lately, so I'll just leave it there. jeers, I |
