Five of the eight speakers have themselves been arrested under the Terrorism Acts and Sukaina Rajwani is speaking on behalf of the Filton 24, some of whom have been in prison for over a year on remand without being found guilty of anything simply because their actions, criminal damage at worst, have been branded as terrorism, a designation compliant judges have been only too happy to accept. The other two speakers are Huda Ammori, founder of Palestine Action and Frank Magennis, who has been outspoken in support of the right to protest and who is involved in the legal battle to remove the proscription of Hamas.
