The tweet in question:
'If a trans-identified male is in a female-only space, he is committing a violent, abusive act. Make a scene, call the cops and if all else fails, punch him in the balls.'
So I guess I have to climb down off calling it just a 'thought crime', and would agree about the double standard, but even if you view it as serious advice and not a joke it's not an 'unprovoked' situation, and violence isn't the first recourse - the point was to draw attention to the dangers of allowing males in female-only spaces and to legitimise objections to that. It shouldn't be an arrestable offence.
Interesting to hear that the msm have covered it and come to GL's defense. Meanwhile pro-Palestine journalists arrested under terrorism powers? crickets...
