'Yet if Sultana’s clear-eyed anti-Zionism delighted potential new party activists, Corbyn himself was not so pleased. In an interview with Middle East Eye, Corbyn was asked what he thought of Sultana’s criticisms. “I think it wasn’t really necessary for her to bring all that up in the interview, but that’s what she decided to do,” he responded. He then prevaricated more, justifying his concessions and saying he had been “under a great deal of pressure to adopt the IHRA” definition by some of his closest supporters “and that was duly done.” He didn’t comment on his views about Zionism.' FFS, of course it was 'necessary', otherwise the new party is going to get torpedoed by exactly the same underhand tactics. Classic Corbyn, reserves his anger for those standing on principle in ways he refused to do. Him & his failed strategists need to be reigned in pronto. jeers, i
