That episode from Sabby also had some interesting info on the Indonesian protests which somewhat undermines the colour revolution idea, although I'm sure the septics would be buzzing around any kind of unrest to see if there's any angle they can take. As for Taibbi I've been calling it for ages and I think this is going to be the last straw for his last few defenders. This has been coming from Due Dissidence as they've been commenting in passing on each of his failures but as they once held him in high regard they hestitaed to do a full segment, but that time has come. It's gutting to see as like others, including the DD guys, we read his books and held him in high regard as one of the last few real journalists. As I said the other day, and have said for a long time, that guy has left the building. As noted in the segment, it's not an organic change; he's either been got to or been paid. Either one is a sad end for someone who was once a trail blaizer for real journalism amidst the sea of shit. Now he's swimming in it like the rest. |
