the current president is very septic-aligned with a very dodgy (from the man in the Jalan's p.o.v.) military past and if you look into the unrest there is a laundry list of issues that they are unhappy with; real life issues such as cost of living. This is far from "oh they are burning their country down because the government is getting special housing allowance" take from Berletic. As I say, and as "The Shock Doctrine" laid out when it comes to the economy, I'm sure the yanks are meddling when it suits them and when they think there profit for them, I'm just not sure this is that.
