The overreaction to this is really something to behold and suggests things have gone a lot farther than we realised. Almost instantly, as Hedges notes, there were all sorts of calls for "war" "all-out assault" and all the rest of the deranged drooling from cretins like James Woods and the usual stable of whore influencer mouthpieces.
