If they want to intercept/arrest/whatever term they put to their illegal acts of piracy 40 to 50 boats they will have to have some massive operation which will provide bad optics and could possibly result in some accidents. I think they may be trying to "thin them out" but I'm not sure harrasment is going to work so this might see them resorting to more direct actions. Am I right in thinking that they don't have any more ports of call before reaching Gaza? If they still have to dock somewhere I could see some sabotage trying to knock out some of the boats but if they don't have to stop anywhere else they have two options; mass hijack or get them to turn round. This may be why they've chosen to make this one so much bigger than the previous ones; making the usual apartheid state defence more difficult if not impossible but that's a tricky gambit.
