Last night on Newsnight the panel were discussing the Starmer debacle and there was mention of two books, "Get In" and "The Fraud". A Labour member ofnthe House of Lords (didn't catch his name) praised the first book but said the other was crap -- or words to that effect. I have a vague recollection that "The Fraud" deals with the internal campaign to smear Corbyn as an anti-semite and bring him down, both electorally and as leader of the party. Is this correct? I also got the strong impression that the Labour peer was one of the cabal that secretly plotted to destroy Corbyn. He came across -- both in his attitude and body language -- as an arrogant smug individual you just knew was devious and untrustworthy and you wouldn't believer a word he uttered. Is "The Fraud" the book I think it is?
