...or anything else. It's a trick to get you to endorse the worthy vs. unworthy victim framing that suits the power interests. I refuse to be their dancing monkey while they deny or render invisible the 1000x greater suffering & death of Palestinians and other designated Unpeople around the world. The more attention you give to the 'worthy' the less goes to the 'unworthy'. That's the whole point of the exercise. Otherwise agree with the article, and wouldn't condone or attempt to justify the killing in any way. cheers, I |
