high blood pressure (hypertension), with diabetes and hypercholesterolaemia are chronic conditions which only very rarely require admission to icu. Those claiming that only a small percentage of patients are dying of rather than with the disease are playing with stats.
Patients may have chronic illness but it is the corona virus which is killing them.
