If you want to see the difference between the left and the right in a mainstream political party just look at Corbyn and Starmer. Corbyn indulged, placated and appeased his enemies, Starmer is ruthless against his opponents and is destroying them.

True, anyone still a member of that partei deserves him...nm

.i.e. Cook does not seem to explicitly see a bigger picture of the long-sought creation of a Democrat Party for her majesty’s opposition.
