I watched it a while back - didn't find it that interesting (can't really remember much of the details which isn't a good sign) - I don't remember it being subversive in any direction particularly (maybe I'm not the audience), just a pretty bland love story with not much to say - I got the feeling it was trying to cash in on the pandemic (and the 'sceptical' side in particular) in some way but trying not to commit too much to any specific polemical stance (again maybe I missed it). |
Nothing to do with the pandemic, or politics generally, but the film Bird Box with Sandra bullock is a much better film (probably only thought of it because it also had bird in the title)
