I was about to post the same here - very good (I never got round to watching the show (line of duty) probably put off by the hype - did you or anyone here? Is it worth a look? (I'm not averse to the odd police procedural)

I watched it from the very beginning and got hooked with so many good plots that interweave through the whole series.

Well worth a nice steady watch but you might well end up binging to the early hours.

Cheers mate - I'll probably give it a go. (I like Vicki McClure from other stuff - an actor with a 'common' background - not many about these days)

gradual decline after that; I offer a partularly vehement health warning against the fourth series, which was spectacularly bad.

I echo K264's comment above. Starts really well (pigs say it's the most realistic portrayal of pigging on TV) then goes every faster downhill; the twists become more and more outrageous and it loses everything that made it good.
