I'm interested to know what folks here think of this piece -- especially in light of John Hilley's trenchant views below.Report -- May 2022: It will cost the UK taxpayer £132bn to decommission all the UK’s civil nuclear sites and the work will not be completed for another 120 years, according to latest estimates.
The BBC is a very effective propaganda tool fir both the British establishment and Western imperialism, in a way the Tories are cutting off their nose to spite their face. But I guess Murdoch must be appeased. As for the BBC, f**k them.
I think we should keep media domestic but keep domestic establishment media weak.
There is a post-brexit power play to make the UK global not in the way the UK purports.
The CIA never saw an election it couldn’t bend, just look at the shower that runs nearly every ‘state’ in Europe on behalf of NATO. It does this largely through shaping popular opinion. Popular opinion in the UK is shaped entirely from abroad and by a few purchased domestic traitors. Certainly enough to bend any election give or take a few targeted accidentally dropped bytes.
Thats how it works.
There are two things standing in the way: Domestic media and a certain family who never has to actually stand for election.
Both are ghastly. Both should be kept from being destroyed from abroad and by domestic traitors, then kept hanging by a thread thereafter.
If there is any hope at all of doing anything that does not involve the UK just being a big laboratory to test US junk and junk ideas.
