It was the CIA/Pentagon who instructed their political puppets to ignore pre-9/11 warnings about plots to fly jets into tall buildings and then there were those five Israelis dancing on the roof and filming the attacks(Herald Scotland):

First of all thanks for posting updates on this; I tend not to see them.
I always have a niggling feeling that the drip-fed revelations about Saudi involvement are used by the U.S. as pressure on the Saudis to follow some dictat or other; do what we say or we release more of this.
The more the Saudis were involved the less chance that the U.S., etc. didn't know about it in advance though; the amount of eyes and ears the various spooks have on and in the Saudi regime make it almost impossible that this was kept secret....no amount of cajolery, and no attempts at ethical or social seduction, can eradicate from my heart a deep burning hatred for the Tory Party...So far as I am concerned they are lower than vermin.

Maybe Saudis will have some tapes to release too ..
In fact, The Saker (before his little indefinite ‘ealf trip to the ‘ealf spa for 3+ months for the good of his overall physical ‘ealf..John) used to say that if push ever came to shove, Putin/Russian intelligence may have a little something to release too. How wrong he was on that one. Like the Julian Assange dead-man’s handle.

No problem, seemed relevant as our 'reluctant warriors' steer us into another massive war.
I wonder what would have happened if the newly released party footage had been shown endlessly for the past 20 years in support of an alternative narrative.. and Bin Laden's name had been erased as thoroughly as Al Jarrah's...
