James Corden briefly replaces Press Secretary at White House(for real)- brilliant, nauseating, bold?

Fascinating on so many levels - how many agencies OK'd this PR stunt ? Pentagon, CIA ? What did they hope to achieve?
But Corden certainly didn't fawn and grovel as Colbert et al would have.
It certainly takes some balls to casually trott out the following off-handers in the White House in front of staffers then broadcast it to the world:
- "Give us the strength to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth....except when we need to lie".
- "..the CDC is really pissing me off!"
Two days earlier Corden announced he'll be quitting the show after one more season.
Note too that after returning to the show in late January after a very long Xmas break in the UK, Corden / his producers have completely removed almost all but the most frivolous political news from his opening "monologues" - after three years of using them to do almost nothing but obediently and rabidly push the Pentagon's/Deep State's anti-Trump Russiagate propaganda..
So did Corden finally decide he'd had enough of being a Late Night mouthpiece for Pentagon propaganda ? Did he jump or was he jettisoned?

Maybe the septics have finally realised he's as big a #### as the brits knew he was a long time ago. Also, he's probably made more than enough money to last him forever and thinks he might still be able to wash the stink off him if he quits now....no amount of cajolery, and no attempts at ethical or social seduction, can eradicate from my heart a deep burning hatred for the Tory Party...So far as I am concerned they are lower than vermin.
