Who's Edward Said? Does he write fiction.

That's the response I got the other day when I asked in an Amnesty International bookshop if they had "The Selected Works of Edward Said, 1966-2006".

The world is gone to hell in a hand art. I was sorely tempted to raise the issue of baby incubators. But I
feared being asked "what's a baby?"

That's a bit harsh. Not everybody had the same opportunities I did. nm

Should I ask the seller to go and get a plumbing degree (like mine : )), so I can communicate with them? They are probably on a minimum wage etc etc

They probably get no wage. Volunteers. nm

I've never heard of volunteer plumbers, so that analogy is out of the window. Nevertheless, if you hear of any do drop me a post.
