I'd have thought someone might have commented on this, as reported on Radio4's PM programme this evening. They played a clip of Bush talking about the illegal and brutal (I'm doing this from memory) invasion by an armed aggresor of Iraq .... er .... I meant Ukraine. He then quipped "Well, I am 75."
What was particularly disgusting was the way the (female) presenter treated the whole episode as a joke, an amusing faux pas. She even had a smile in her voice. Never mind over a million people were killed and 4.5 million displaced, to her it was a trivial, even light-hearted bit of froth. A vacancy of a creature, a human void without morals; and I don't mean Bush.
