The people who are celebrating the end of women’s right to choose in the US are banding together to provide support for women and girls through their pregnancies. Once the babies are born, support will be provided for health care, food, shelter and education from infancy to adult independence.

If the woman dies from an ectopic pregnancy, they will support the other dependents left behind.

If it is a pregnancy resulting from rape, they will provide counselling as needed and a home for the child in cases where the mother cannot bear to raise the child of their attacker.

Or not.

Quite - they're pro-life up right until it gets born, after which they often seem to hate it. Doesn't seem very christian to me.

Abortion needs to be portrayed as a class issue. Working class women will be most impacted!

Many will end up in the hands of backstreet abortionists.

Well-off women will go somewhere safe to get an abortion.

This needs to be portrayed as a class issue.

My partner indeed near died from an ectopic pregnancy. Supporting me was the least of it: they have no intention of supporting anyone.
