Nothing more cringe than pols trying to act like they are footie fans and der Sturmer is worse than most at it. I saw a tweet somewhere that said that whenever he comments on football he manages to make it sound like he's only just read the Wikipedia page for whoever/whatever it is he's commenting on.
I'm sure his every utterance is focus grouped and scripted to death but all he manages to convey is manufactured insincerity....no amount of cajolery, and no attempts at ethical or social seduction, can eradicate from my heart a deep burning hatred for the Tory Party...So far as I am concerned they are lower than vermin.
