Actually, I think it's the opposite. That false claims of racism against Jews are routinely given far more attention than they deserve, compared to far more serious allegations of racism aimed at 'less worthy or important' minorities. So, things are obviously skewed, only their skewed in favour of Jews.

Then there's the difficult question of why brazen examples of racism, by Jews, up to and including mass murder against Palestinians in Gaza, are not pursued properly by the intrnational community and Israeli soldirs and political leaders, ar not hld to account for their crimes. The Wst is too soft on Israel, not too hard. Baddiel, tellingly, has nothing to say about any of the discrimation that benefits Israel.

Hmm...the idea that there is such a thing as a "left wing Antisemite" is one of Israel's most brilliant propaganda coups.
After all you are being asked to believe that Socialists apparently give up their core belief which is in community... just so they can "hate" Jewish people.
When asked for evidence to back this astounding theory they talk in terms of dog whistle: when a left wing person says "Zionist" they really mean "Dirty Jew": "It's code you see...so they can keep their antisemitism secret..."
Its nothing at all to do with Israel and Zionism being the racist antithesis of those Socialist notions of inclusive communities..? "Oh no sir! no siree...."
Instead of this obviously being the case we must alternatively resort to "special pleading" : that Socialists are guilty of racism but apparently only against Jews.

It's a remarkable conspiracy theory in that its proposers don't actually believe it and neither do its advocates: it's essentially a conspiracy "belief" of convenience: what we used to term a "lie".

Even more remarkable is that in a world where the media and the elite feed us outrage about Russia "interfering" in the US elections based on evidential nothings...at the same time and in broad daylight plucky little Israel was allowed not just to interfere in UK elections but also to destroy and remake the UK Labour party in it's own image.

Maureen Lipman should have recognised all of this - her being an expert on 'ologies'. The word 'racism' like 'fascism' has been eviscerated of all meaning through over and misuse. Baddiel, like many of his fellow 'hey, I'M the victim here' travellers has found an easy way to make money (books to write, TV programmes to make, interviews to give etc). A way of being 'relevant' when you have the misfortune to be pale, male and stale. It was either this or coming out as trans.

It illustrates the need for some objective measure of prejudice, bigotry or racism. It can't just be based on people's feelings being hurt by the alleged behaviour of others.

By appealing to authorities for a rescue against offence being given rather than taken, power can get people fighting each other rather than their class enemies.
