What I find really rather sad, to put it mildly, is that this interesting and extremely informative discussion/analysis, is impossible to imagine taking place anywhere near the mainstream media landscape. Never in the BBC or the Guardian, or anywhere else really. It's like wartime censorship has been imposed, without any debate at all and coverage of the conflict in Ukraine is massively anti-Russian and completely biased in favour of Ukrainian propaganda, regardless of objective reality and facts on the ground. For example ignoring Ukrainian atrocitiees and the strength of neo-Nazi militant nationalistwithin the military.
It's unthinkable that anyone would be allowed or given time and space to present the case that this conflict has very little to do with Ukraine, per se, but is probably/really about using Ukraine as a weapon/excuse, a pretext, to stop Germany/Europe from moving closer economically and politically, to Russia and China, thereby in the future, creating a hugely powerful economic area that would eventually dwarf the United States. So, that can't be allowed to happen and Washington is determined to stop this happening, by any means necessary, like starting a giant burning firewall in the middle of Europe, divinding and conquering.
Re: Collapsing European security order. Glenn Diesen interviews Richard Sakwa & Alexander Mercouris
Yeh, a great discussion and a deep level of historical contextualisation you'd never get in the MSM.
It is about time Europeans woke up to the fact that the US is willing to sacrifice Ukrainian lives and European livelihoods all in an ultimately futile attempt to hold on to global hegemony.
In the short term the US has succeeded in severing Germany from Russia. But, it has not brought Russia down economically or militarily and is unlikely to.
It's about time the Yanks put the neocons back in their box and accepted the reality of a multipolar world.
